It's pre-defined skill sets, each one can be labeled and will show up on your bar as such. So the bar you saw was a default bar labeled PVP.

You can Turn HDR off in games bro. Example Look at Oblivion you can chose Bloom or HDR. I have a feeling GW will be implementing a similar feature. So it wont cripple anybody.
